About Aloha Bites
Owner and founder, Akiko White used to sit upon her grandmother Vera’s kitchen counter tossing ingredients into her grandma's 30 year old kitchen aid. Grandma Vera always knew how to adjust the recipe to make everything come out just right!
Several years later Akiko honed her cake skills and won several cake shows, one being the best in show at That Takes the Cake Show in Austin, Texas and she participated on Food Network’s Cake Wars with the Best Designed Cake in Cake Wars History!
That led to her making preserves and then founding Aloha Bites so she could combine her creativity with local Hawai’in ingredients to make unique sweet treats and share Aloha one Bite at a time.
