The expo also hosts seminars and special events each year, covering the latest industry trends, innovations, and sustainability topics. Below are two key themes we focused on during this year’s event:

1. Rapid Growth and Market Innovation in the Natural & Organic Industry

During the keynote session, "The State of Natural & Organic", industry experts highlighted the continued growth of the natural and organic sector, outpacing traditional products and proving its strong market value in retail and food service industries.

Nick McCoy, co-founder of Whipstitch Capital, pointed out that non-white consumers are the fastest-growing demographic in the natural and organic market.

"We are all benefiting from this growth. We are here to build our brands and companies," said McCoy. "To fully capitalize on these emerging consumer groups, embracing diverse perspectives is essential for business success."

Kathryn Peters, Head of Industry Relations at SPINS, also emphasized that diversity is driving industry innovation. "Diversity brings unique consumer experiences and preferences while fostering community engagement and participation," she noted.

The expo floor was filled with a wide variety of natural and organic products, reflecting brands’ commitment to meeting diverse consumer needs. Companies are actively adapting their strategies to align with these market shifts, further fueling industry advancement.

2. Vitamin Angels: Promoting Maternal and Child Nutrition

With over 3 billion people worldwide suffering from malnutrition, this crisis poses severe risks to the health of pregnant women and young children.

Vitamin Angels, a public health nonprofit organization, is committed to improving nutrition and health for underserved communities, breaking cycles of poverty and poor health, and driving economic growth at both individual and community levels.

Their goal is to double their impact by 2033, aiming to reach 140 million pregnant women and children annually.

Key initiatives include:

  • Prenatal Nutrition Support: Providing multiple micronutrient supplements (MMS), including prenatal vitamins and minerals, to ensure adequate maternal nutrition. They also offer nutrition counseling and resources to improve pregnancy outcomes.
  • Postnatal Nutrition Education: Promoting the importance of breastfeeding and complementary feeding through educational materials.
  • Early Childhood Nutrition: Supplying Vitamin A and Albendazole deworming treatments for children under five years old, supporting immune health, growth, blindness prevention, and overall child development.

Through participation in Natural Products Expo West 2025, Best in Nature continues to stay at the forefront of industry innovation, market trends, and global health initiatives, strengthening our commitment to providing high-quality, natural, and organic health products to consumers worldwide.
